Healthy Habits for a Healthy Life.

Healthy habits are the foundation needed for a healthy life. Even if your nutrition and physical activity is dialed in, you still need to create the habits that will help you to maintain your progress.

We know that we all have busy lives and way too much going on. Family commitments, work, and just life in general can lead to stress and not enough time for personal care. In order to have a healthy life both physically and mentally, we need to develop healthy habits. We will work with every client to help them figure out what works best for them to develop the habits that will lead them to their goals.

Here are a few examples of ways to create healthy habits in your life:

  • Eat whole foods

  • Increase water intake

  • Reduce sugar intake

  • Quit snacking between meals

  • Stop binge eating

  • Remove soda from your diet

  • Read food labels

  • Don’t drink caffeine before bed

  • Unwind before bed

  • Put away electronics 2-3 hours before bed

  • Eliminate or reduce alcohol and cigarettes

  • Keep yourself active

  • Exercise at least 3 times per week

  • Get outdoors for walks

  • Track your steps

  • Set a sleep and wake schedule

  • Create a daily schedule

  • Organize tasks

  • Take short mental breaks throughout the day

  • Take a break from social media

  • Shut down negative self-talk
